Kurisu Kisaragi

Kurisu Kisaragi is © 2006 – 2008 *epyonavenger
All Intellectual Property Rights Reserved. No part of this image may be used without the expressed, written consent from the owners. Original character design created through to the Neverwinter Nights Game System.

Commissioned piece for *epyonavenger of his original character Kurisu Kisaragi. He gave me so many liberties on how to interpret his character in my own way. Took me a great while to finish it, and I am very thankful for his infinite patience. As a bonus, I made it into a Dagger Doll, which means what’s hidden under the armor can be seen by the owner of the image.

Pose is based on a 3D render of a female model I saw on the internet.

Blood Spectre

Blood Spectre is © BloodSpectre

Commissioned piece for BloodSpectre of his character Blood Spectre from the City of Heroes™ Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.

Because of his enormous wingspan, I had to extend my usual poster size width for this. First decaying character I’ve done.

HB pencil on 12 x 18 inch paper. Digitally inked in Painter X, colored in Photoshop CS2.

Noir: Zoé

Zoe is commissioned by jklst14.

Finally. One of the backlogged commission pieces I’ve had since the beginning of the year. Don’t even ask me why it took so long, I’m just happy it is finished.

Every aspect of this image was specifically asked by the commissioning party. The dark, gloomy shadows are my idea to give the image a noir feel to it. Inspired by the works of Frank Miller and the Sin City movie.

Divebomb

Divebomb is © Jezebel1669.

Supposedly part of my $35 quick commission. It was upgraded to a full commission piece.

Her design was based on one piece done by Reiq of the same character, but I tweaked it to add in my own flare to Divebomb.

Tiger Lily and Vengeance

Tiger Lily and Vengeance are © 2007 SablePhoenix. Created through the City of Heroes ™ Online Game System.

A regular commission of the characters Tiger Lily and Vengeance in a romantic pose overlooking the cityscape.

All aspects of this image was specifically requested by the commissioning party.

Sinfernal

Sinfernal is © 2007 SunGryphon.

Commissioned piece. Pose based on a classic Bettie Page pin-up. A very interesting and a very challenging character to draw, color-wise. The chain is always a challenge to draw, and is a test to one’s patience. I feel like I’m practicing to draw Spawn and his many chains in his costume.

Cheri Girl

A commissioned piece. She wanted to have me re-imagine her online persona. I opted to use the works of George Petty as inspiration, and took the orange-y shade of his 50’s pinup and how he usually poses his models. I had so much fun drawing this character, which I hope shows.

In loving memory to Cheryl Ochinero. On the night of September 8th 2007 she lost control of her motorcycle and struck a tree. Emergency-services personnel at the scene were unable to revive her. Cheryl was 27 years of age when she died.

Slamdance

Slamdance is © Jeremy Wilson.

Commissioned piece. Pose and character specified by the commissioning party. Based on designs provided through the City of Heroes™ Online game.

Digitally Inked in Painter IX and colored in Photoshop CS2.

Deadly Nightshade

The Deadly Nightshade is © Casey Johnson.

Commissioned character drawing.

The owner showed me previous drawings of this character done by another artist. The drawings were probably done in the mid-90s, and the artist somewhat traced his works using Jim Lee and Marc Silvestri’s originals from WildC.A.T.S. and Cyberforce.

Seeing as the character’s design was probably inspired by these works and those probably done also by Brett Booth (Backlash), I took the opportunity to pay homage to Jim Lee by doing the character ala the Batman HUSH and Superman FOR TOMORROW covers that he did.

WoW Female Orc Pin-up

World of Warcraft is ™ and © Blizzard Entertainment. All Intellectual Rights Reserved.

Commissioned piece. Pose and character specified by the commissioning party. I gave her a more humanoid-looking face and body with the approval of the commissioning party. This is why I say it loosely based on the online game characters on WoW.

Nena D3viant

Nena D3viant is © Del Fowler.

Character designed using the City of Heroes MMO Gaming System.

Commissioned image. Pose and situation specifically requested by owner. I opted to show the initial inked version only because I kinda liked what I did with it using Painter IX and freehand inking it like it was on paper.

Warfox VS Britannia

Warfox and Britannia are © Jeffrey W. Reger.

Character designed using the City of Heroes™ and City of Villains™ MMO Gaming System.

Commissioned image. Poses and situation specifically requested by Jeffrey Reger. Digitally inked in Painter IX and colored in Photoshop CS2.

Jeffrey Reger’s Warfox

Warfox is © Jeffrey W. Reger.

Character designed using the City of Villains™ Online game system.

Commissioned image from the same creator of Britannia.

I have alot of CoH and CoV characters on my list right now, and I like doing these type of characters because it gives me a chance to go back to a genre that I love; superheroes.

Daniel Summer’s Korené

Korené is © Daniel Summers.

From the fiction The Shadows Inside created by Daniel Summers.

Among his created characters that I’ve had the privilege to draw, Korene is undoubtedly my favorite, because simply of her warrior spirit. I took inspiration on her design from the samurai and the kuniochis (female ninjas).
